GUWAHATI: A team from Dispur Police Station seized 10,000 Yaba tablets and 11 grams of suspected heroin from five soap boxes during a raid at Central Guest House in Naharoni Path, Hatigaon, on the evening of Tuesday, November 12.

Five individuals—Md Hasu Miya (45) of Sarthebari, Amina Khatun (40) of Bilasipara, Akmal Hussain (27) of Patharkandi, and Yeahiya Ahmed (24) of Karimganj—were arrested in connection with the seizure.
Additionally, four mobile phones and ₹5,000 in cash were seized during the operation.
Legal action has been initiated against the arrested suspects.
