GUWAHATI: The Election office of Kamrup Metropolitan Election District issued a press release today, announcing the publication of the Final Electoral Rolls for the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls.
The qualifying date for this revision was set as 01-01-2024. The constituencies covered include 33-Dispur, 34-Dimoria (SC), 35-New Guwahati, 36-Guwahati Central, and 37-Jalukbari under the Kamrup Metropolitan Election District.
The public has been informed that copies of the Final Electoral Rolls are available for inspection at various venues:
• Office of the District Election Officer, Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Hengrabari, Guwahati.
• Office of the Circle Officer, Dispur Revenue Circle, and Electoral Registration Officer, 33 - Dispur LAC.
• Office of the Circle Officer, Sonapur Revenue Circle, and Electoral Registration Officer, 34 - Dimoria (SC) LAC.
• Office of the Election Officer, Kamrup Metro, and Electoral Registration Officer, 35 - New Guwahati LAC.
• Office of the Circle Officer, Guwahati Revenue Circle, and Electoral Registration Officer, 36 - Guwahati Central LAC.
• Office of the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle, and Electoral Registration Officer, 37 - Jalukbari LAC.
The Final Electoral Rolls, published on February 8, 2024, reveal the total number of electors for each constituency:
