The 5th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards 2024 took place in Mumbai on Sunday Night, December 1. Prior to the event, nominations were unveiled across 39 categories for web series and films in the evening.

The Railway Men emerged as the Best Series, and Kaala Paani, a survival drama, bagged the Best Director (Series) award for Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani. The latter also earned the award for Best Original Story.
Meanwhile, Manisha Koirala was honoured with Best Actor (Female) in a Drama Series for her portrayal in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, while Gagan Dev Riar clinched Best Actor (Male) in a Drama Series for Scam 2003: The Telgi Story.
In the comedy category, Rajkummar Rao’s performance in Guns and Gulaabs earned him Best Actor (Male), with the series also winning Critics’ Choice for Best Series.
In the films category, Amar Singh Chamkila swept several awards, including Best Film (Web Original) and Best Director for Imtiaz Ali. Diljit Dosanjh’s performance in the titular role earned him Best Actor (Male), while AR Rahman received accolades for Best Background Music and Best Music Album.
Finally, the Critics’ Choice for Best Film was awarded to Jaane Jaan, with Kareena Kapoor Khan winning Best Actor (Female). Another special recognition award was given to Arjun Varain Singh for his debut film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
