GUWAHATI: In a recent development, various advertisements have surfaced, suggesting that the North Eastern Council (NEC) is offering sponsorships for placements in Japan, along with the provision of skill loans for individuals in the hotel industry. These advertisements suggest that the NEC will be sponsoring a considerable number of candidates for job placements in Japan, particularly as nurses and caregivers. In addition, the ads indicate that 200 vacancies are available for skill loans aimed at the hotel industry.
The NEC Secretariat, based in Shillong, responded to these allegations and confirmed the falseness of such claims. The spokesperson of the NEC has categorically stated that these assertions are devoid of truth.
In light of this misinformation, the NEC has issued a statement urging potential candidates to exercise caution and ensure the legitimacy of any job placement advertisement they encounter on social media or within certain sections of print media. The NEC does not endorse or support recruitment drives of the nature described in the advertisements, and it does not provide skill loans for the hotel industry.
