Excise Dept to conduct extensive raids to curb liquor consumption during Shivratri

Excise Dept of Kamrup (M) gears up conducting raids to curb illicit liquor consumptions during the ensuing Maha Shivratri Puja, on Feb 14th.

The District Administration has divided the city in four zones with respect to major temples around -- Basistha, Umananda, Shukreswar and Vimashankar Jyotirlinga  temples -- where excise inspectors have been instructed to conduct the raids.
