Talking about Chum Darang, Elvish remarked, "Karanveer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai." His statement not only insulted Chum but also had racial undertones, leading to widespread outrage on social media.

Netizens were quick to condemn the YouTuber for his insensitive and disrespectful remarks. Many users criticized his behavior, calling out his lack of decency and respect. One user wrote, "And people are crazy about it..." while another commented, "Upbringing and education matter. I feel ashamed of their poor upbringing." Some even questioned why Elvish continues to receive a platform despite his controversial statements.

The backlash against Elvish Yadav highlights the growing intolerance towards casual racism and misogyny in the entertainment industry. While he has not yet responded to the criticism, the incident has sparked a debate on the responsibility influencers hold and the impact of their words on the audience.
