According to reports, the elephant is suspected to have strayed from the nearby Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary, a pattern that has been observed in the area before.

Locals indicated that the same elephant is often spotted wandering in the Satgaon locality too, likely in search of food. The animal was seen moving through the school corridors without causing any damage.

School staff who witnessed the incident were taken by surprise. A video of the elephant casually strolling inside the school building surfaced on the internet, drawing widespread attention. In the video, a person was heard calmly urging the elephant to leave the school premises, saying, “Maharaj, jaayeae,” meaning “Maharaj, please go away.”

Authorities confirmed that the elephant exited the school complex on its own without damaging property or causing harm. No intervention by forest officials or law enforcement was required.
