GUWAHATI: The Election Commission of India issued a Gazette notification today, covering 102 parliamentary constituencies across 21 states and Union territories slated to go to polls in the first phase of General Elections to Lok Sabha 2024.

Polling in these constituencies is set to take place on 19th April. The states and UTs included in Phase 1 are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.

With the process under way, candidates are stepping forward to contest in what promises to be a crucial phase of the upcoming General Elections.
