GUWAHATI: The E-Commerce marketing giant, Flipkart is set to collaborate with Assam Government.
Akash Misra, director, Government Relations (East) of Flipkart and Industries and Commerce Department of Assam will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Flipkart.
The MoU in turn will provide the local artisans, Assamese jewellery makers, small tea growers, organic cultivators etc a platform in online marketing.
It is to be mentioned that Flipkart would conduct training and workshop for the people involved in sectors like Assamese traditional jewellery, Assamese Muga silk, organic farming etc.
