GUWAHATI: The dates of Ashtami, Navami and Dashami have caused confusion among people. To clear up confusion surrounding the Durga Puja 2024 schedule, the exact dates and timings for key rituals have been confirmed.

Devotees can now follow these timings for the celebrations:
- Saptami: October 10
- Ashtami: October 11 from 5:23 AM to 6:24 AM
- Sandhi Puja on Ashtami: October 11 from 6:24 AM to 7:12 AM
- Navami: October 11 starting at 8:19 AM and continuing throughout the day
- Dashami: October 12 from 5:44 AM to 9:16 AM
Bisarjan (immersion) will be followed as per ritual by respective pandals according to their choice on either October 12 or 13.
