GUWAHATI: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times by an unidentified assailant during a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence in the early hours of Thursday, January 16. The incident reportedly occurred around 3.30 AM when the attacker gained entry into the actor's home.

According to reports, a confrontation ensued between Saif and the intruder, during which the actor sustained multiple stab wounds. Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Doctors have said that his condition is stable and he is out of danger.
At the time of the incident, Saif's wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their sons, Taimur and Jeh, were present in the house. Fortunately, they were unharmed.
Thereafter, an FIR has been filed. Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to track down the attacker.
