GUWAHATI: The District Election Officer of Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Guwahati, has issued a notice informing the electors of several Legislative Assembly Constituencies about the publication of a draft list of Polling Stations.
These constituencies include 33-Dispur, 34-Dimoria (SC), 35-New Guwahati, 36-Guwahati Central, and 37-Jalukbari. The draft list of Polling Stations has been prepared in accordance with Section 25 of the Representation of People Act, 1951.
The draft list of Polling Stations is available for inspection at the District Election Officer's office during office hours. Additionally, it can be viewed at various designated locations corresponding to the Legislative Assembly Constituencies.
Here are the details of these locations:
33-Dispur: Office of the Circle Officer, Dispur Revenue Circle and the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for 33-Dispur LAC.
34-Dimoria (SC): Office of the Circle Officer, Sonapur Revenue Circle and the ERO for 34-Dimoria (SC) LAC.
35-New Guwahati: Office of the Election Officer, Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Hengrabari, Guwahati, and the ERO for 35-New Guwahati Central LAC.
36-Guwahati Central: Office of the Circle Officer, Guwahati Revenue Circle and the ERO for 36-Guwahati Central LAC.
37-Jalukbari: Office of the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle and the ERO for 37-Jalukbari LAC.
The notice invites any objections or suggestions regarding the draft list of Polling Stations. These objections or suggestions should be submitted in writing to the District Election Officer's office on or before November 3, 2023.
