GUWAHATI: In a PTI tweet attributed to the union civil aviation minister of state (independent charge), Hardeep Singh Puri said, domestic passenger flight operations are to “resume in calibrated manner from May 25.”
Seeing the vagueness of the tweet, G Plus spoke to Indra Mohan, PRO of Airport Authority of India, Borjhar, who clarified, “The details are yet to be decided by the government as to how many flights will be operated and what destinations will be there initially. Specific and clear instructions have not yet come from the ministry. We also have seen just the tweet. There is a video meeting scheduled for this evening with the AAI head office and we are expecting the details to be specified then. Guwahati airport is otherwise fully prepared to receive and send off flights.”
