The performance, given by the Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band, went largely unnoticed at the time of the event, which took place around two weeks ago. However, it has now gained viral traction online.

The Hindu-Scottish pipe band, known for blending Scottish bagpiping with Hindu cultural elements, recently shared a video of their performance on Instagram. The clip quickly went viral, with many desi viewers expressing disbelief and amusement over the cross-cultural moment.

The BBC, which covered the Commonwealth Day event, confirmed the authenticity of the performance, dispelling doubts from social media users. Many online comments referenced Hrithik Roshan’s Dhoom 2 role, where he disguises himself as Queen Elizabeth for a heist. Others joked about India’s revenge, making humorous remarks about the Kohinoor diamond.
