At just 14 years old, Suryavanshi also recorded the fastest IPL century by an Indian and the second-fastest century in IPL history.

“Aisa kabhi hua hai, aapne pehle hi ball pe chakka maara ho?This is what our young Vaibhav asked his teammate a few days before he made his debut on the big stage, smashing a six off the first ball he faced. He then cried on his way back to the dugout,  having scored 34 (20) with 3 sixes in that innings. Today, he’s stood and delivered 51* off 17 balls with three fours and SIX sixes. And he’s not done here… Never stop dreaming. Never stop achieving, Vaibhav," tweeted Rajasthan Royals.

Suryavanshi was eventually dismissed after scoring 101 off 38 balls. Rajasthan Royals won the match by 8 wickets.
