GUWAHATI: Deepak Kumar, IPS has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police of Guwahati.
Deepak Kumar will take charge from Pradip Chandra Saloi who will retire on superannuation on December 31.
Kumar served as IGP L/O at Assam Police Headquarters, Ulubari.
