GUWAHATI: The cyclonic storm Fani (pronounced as 'Foni') will hit the coast of Odisha gusting at a speed of 200 kmph.
The cyclone has moved further northeastwards after moving further away from west central Bay of Bengal which is about 360 km southwest of Puri (Odisha), 190 km southeast of Vishakapatnam (Andra Pradesh) and 550 km southwest of Digha (West Bengal).

The cyclone is expected to hit the Odisha and Bengal by afternoon on May 3.
