GUWAHATI: A team from Cyber PS recovered ₹43,327 for a victim of a "digital arrest" scam on Wednesday, November 27. The recovered funds were promptly credited back to the victim's bank account.

The victim, a resident of Narengi, had fallen prey to the scam in late October 2024, losing a total of ₹98,132.
The fraudsters had siphoned off the money under the guise of a fake digital arrest threat.
A portion of the stolen amount was recovered and returned to the victim
