GUWAHATI: A water leakage from a pipeline valve in the Athgaon area of Guwahati on Thursday, November 28, has raised concerns among residents due to minor waterlogging on the streets.

Local resident Sandeep Jain said, “The leakage started today and led to the accumulation of water on the street.”
An official from the Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) stated that an air valve needs to be installed over the sluice valve to address the issue. “We are working on it, and instructions have been given,” the official added.
Authorities are working to resolve the problem to prevent further inconvenience to the public
