GUWAHATI: Assam has reported 88 more new COVID-19 positive cases on June 24 tweeted Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Reportedly 23 cases are from Kamrup(Metro), 20 from Sonitpur, 10 from Tinsukia, 8 from Baksa, 7 from Karimganj, 5 from Dibrugarh, 4 from Dhubri, 3 from Kokrajhar, 3 from Kamrup (Rural), 2 from Biswanath, 2 from Nalbari and one from Dhemaji.

Meanwhile, the Kamrup (M) district administration, as a preventive measure, has lockdown as many as 11 wards for the next 14 days.
