GUWAHATI: Cotton University witnessed a gathering of over 50 students on March 11, protesting against the recent announcement of the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).

Talking to GPlus, Himangshu Kumar Das, President of the Student Union at Cotton University, voiced their opposition to the decision.

He stated, "We still oppose CAA. The government should have considered the concerns raised. We remember all the protestors who stood against the CAA implementation in 2019."
