In the complaint he also focussed on the severe disruptions experienced by residents, leading to prolonged traffic congestion and blocked routes.

He recounted a particularly tragic incident involving an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient, which was significantly delayed due to the chaotic traffic, potentially endangering the patient's life.

Additionally, Sharma emphasised the violation of regulations established by Assam's Chief Minister in January 2024, prioritising public welfare over political events. He held both Himanta Biswa Sarma and Narendra Modi responsible for organising the rally and disregarding these guidelines.

Challenging the characterization of the visit as official, Sharma asserted its primary purpose as political campaigning. He urged authorities to promptly address the grievances of affected citizens and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Talking to GPlus, a police official from Bhangagarh Police Station said, “The complaint was filed yesterday and we are further investigating it. Further steps will be taken.”

In response to these concerns, Sharma called for a thorough investigation and appropriate action, including the potential arrest of Himanta Biswa Sarma and Narendra Modi.

He urged the prompt registration of the FIR and the initiation of corrective measures to address the issues raised in his complaint.
