GUWAHATI: As the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee begins campaigning for the Assembly Elections 2021, Pankaj Borbora, General Secretary of Pradesh Congress, led a procession to different places of worship in Gauhati East, the 'Axirbaad Jatra', seeking blessings of the almighty for the polls.
He travelled through the different parts of the constituency stopping at different areas of Guwahati like Zoo Road Tiniali Namghar, Christian Basti Kali Mandir, Ambari Burha Jame Masjid, Fancy Bazar Baptist Church, Ugratora Temple among others.

“As we are gearing up for elections, I wanted to begin my campaign by offering prayers to God for which we have organised this procession in Guwahati,” said Borbora.
