GUWAHATI: In its efforts to contain the rapid spread of Coronavirus across the country and the fast increasing numbers of positive cases, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has been sprinkling disinfectants at many public places in the city with the help of fire tenders.
As such, GMC will be sprinkling disinfectants at several places on 24th March as well.
As per a schedule circulated by GMC the places to be disinfected on 24th March include Dispur Supermarket/Fire Station Centre, Gauhati Club Point, GMCH Bhangaghar, Mazar Road near ASTC, Adabari Bus Station and Lokhra Chariali.
While the disinfectant will be sprinkled at 6:30 pm at Dispur Supermaket/Fire Station Centre, the timings at other locations has been scheduled at 4 pm.
