GUWAHATI: An associate professor of Moirabari College Rehna Jasmin passes away in a road accident in Assam's Morigaon district.

The accident also left her husband critically injured.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu shared the news on his official X handle, stating, "Rehna Jasmin, associate professor of history at Moirabari College in Morigaon district, has died in a tragic road accident. Her husband is also seriously injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment. I pray to God for his good health. My deepest condolences to the families of Professor Jasmine who has cast a shadow of grief over this heartbreaking incident."
