GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal took stock of the devastation caused by the flood in the the Indo-Bangladesh border area on July 24.
According to reports, Sonowal visited the Ashmer Alga BOP in South Salmara-Mankachar district along the Indo-Bangladesh border and directed speedy repairs for continuation of efficient patrolling.

It is to be mentioned that the barbed wires at the border which had been tore off by the strong currents of the flooding waters.
The Chief Minister also visited the Shishumara Relief Camp in the Mankachar District.
