A Class 7 student was gang raped at Boko on December 14, Thursday.
The victim was severely injured and has been fighting against death ever since. In a very critical condition, she was brought to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and is currently undergoing treatment there. Even after 5 days, the victim has not gained consciousness.
Allegedly, three persons were involved in raping the student.
Reportedly, a case was registered under Sontali Police Station, Rangapani. It has also been alleged that even after an FIR registration, the police have not taken any action against the alleged rapists.
