GUWAHATI: With an aim to bring in changes with regards to city's development and beautification, a new body named Central Guwahati Development Committee has been formed.
The committee will try put pressure on the authorities concerned for development and beautification-related works in the city.
The members of the committee stated that some parts of the city are yet to have functional streetlights.
Further, erection of proper sheds at bus stops in some areas is one of the major concerns.
The committee will be headed by Mrigen Sarania which will ensure to put up the residents’ woes before the authorities.
