GUWAHATI: Addressing the media regarding the current state of coronavirus in Assam, state health and finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the central government will issue an advisory regarding lockdown relaxation by April 14.
"I think it will be a relaxed lockdown with focus on restricted movement and hygiene maintenance," stated Sarma.
However, restrictions will continue to exist on inter state transportation and border sealing will be in place.

Based on the advisory of the central government, the assam government will prepare a plan within the next 3-4 days regarding opening of government offices, medical colleges, among others.
