GUWAHATI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a revised date sheet for classes 10 and 12.
The newly released CBSE Date Sheet for 2021 for Classes 10 and 12 is now available on the official website cbse.nic.in.
The exams will now begin on May 4, 2021 and end on June 14th, 2021 for Class 12. The Class 12 exam will be conducted in two shifts on four days. The second shift would be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The Class 10 Board Exams are scheduled to end on June 7, 2021.
Practical examinations will be conducted by schools from March 1. Results for both the classes are expected by July 15.
Usually, practical exams are conducted in January and written exams begin in February and conclude in March.
However, the exams are being delayed this session in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CBSE had earlier this month announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.
Schools across the country were closed in March to contain the spread of COVID-19.They were partially reopened in some states from October 1.
