GUWAHATI: In a recent breakthrough in the war against drug trafficking, Udalguri Police have dealt another blow to the illegal drug trade.
Acting on intelligence inputs, law enforcement officials seized a substantial quantity of cannabis with an approximate market value of ₹2 crore near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border, within the jurisdiction of Mazbat Police Station.
Lawful actions have been initiated in connection with the seizure.
The Udalguri Police announced the operation on X, stating, “#WarAgainstDrugs Another blow to the drug trade! Udalguri police seized Cannabis of approx market value Rs 2 crores near Assam Arunachal Pradesh Border,Mazbat PS. Lawful actions initiated.”
