GUWAHATI: A man in Athgaon area of Guwahati was allegedly shot by unknown miscreants on Thursday, September 12.
As per preliminary reports, the victim identified as Shyam Sharma was shot by two bike-borne men in Athgaon area of the city.
Following the incident, the victim was rushed to Marwari Hospital for medical attention.

The incident occurred at Shri Jagdamba Iron & Steels in Athgaon.
Earlier, reportedly, the owner of the commercial establishment was shot but according to locals, the miscreants were looking for the proprietor Shyam Sundar Sharma. However, his salesman Shyam Sharma responded and the gang opened fire and fled from the spot.
Currently, a CID team has reached the spot and investigation in the matter is on.
