GUWAHATI: Brahmaputra Riverfront View located in Panbazar has been officially inaugurated by Union Minister Amit Shah and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma around 6:15 PM on January 20, 2024.
The project aims to breathe new life into the riverfront, offering a vibrant space that fosters tourism, and economic activities, and provides recreational spots for locals.
Earlier talking to GPlus, a GMDA official said, "The Riverfront view is designed with spaces for jogging, walking, and benches under the trees, providing a serene atmosphere for visitors. Additionally, the view promises to be a perfect spot to witness the mesmersing sunset over the Brahmaputra."
"The area covering this project is 30 bighas and the budget allocated for this project is ₹68 crores approximately," the source in GMDA further informed GPlus.
