GUWAHATI: A body was discovered on Tuesday morning, August 20, in a garage located in Guwahati’s Six Mile area.

The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Ajit Barman, was found inside the Rajdhani Garage in the Amtola locality of Sachal within the Six Mile area.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur police station confirmed the identity of the deceased and provided some insight into the likely cause of death. "He was 35 years old. It appears that excessive alcohol consumption led to his death," the official stated.
The body has been sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for a post-mortem examination to confirm the exact cause of death.
