GUWAHATI: A body of man was found in the premises of the Bhootnath crematorium on the night of November 13.
According to a police official from Bharalumukh Police Station, the deceased has been identified as Sahil Khan, a homeless man who sought shelter in Bhootnath.
The police also stated that Khan was a habitual alcoholic and he was already in a very terrible condition.
Upon preliminary investigation, no injury marks were found in his body and as of now the body has been sent for Post mortem for assessing the reason for death.
