Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will most likely go solo in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. Ranjeet Das, Assam State BJP President announced on February 18 that they would contest the Lok Sabha elections alone.
He added that the BJP is not in alliance with AGP anymore and will not tie up with them in this election as they have taken the seats of opposition in the assembly.
Das further mentioned that BJP party members have already informed of this to Amit Shah during the latter's visit to Assam.
