BJP Chief, Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS for Swine Flu

GUWAHATI: BJP President, Amit Shah has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) owing to swine flu infection.

According to AIIMS staff, Shah arrived at the hospital late in the evening on Wednesday and is currently under observation of the institute’s director, Randeep Guleria. He was admitted to the hospital following complaints of chest congestion and breathing issues.

The BJP president also took to twitter to inform the twitterverse about his health condition where he mentioned that he is being taken under observation. He wrote, “I am infected with Swine flu for which treatment is going on. With God’s grace and people’s love and good wishes, I hope to recover soon.” 

This news comes almost immediately after the news about Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley being rushed to the US for medical treatment on the same day.
