A workshop-cum-personality grooming session will be conducted in Guwahati from 9th August to 11th August at Vivanta by Taj.
The workshop will help in mentoring individuals from the different walk of life, who wants to make a difference to their life - be it aspiring models, actors, college fresher, entrepreneurs or homemakers.
The workshop will be hosted by renowned model turned Bollywood actress Tora Khasgir Borhani and Mr. India World 2007 Kawaljit Singh Anand.
The workshop aims to help individuals in personality development, boost confidence, beauty, health and wellness, develop interview and presentation skills, coach dress code and etiquettes and last but not the least good understanding of oneself and the world around us.
“When I began in the field of modelling, I was merely 19 years old and had no one to guide me in the field. I still wish that I had someone to teach me the basics. Now, I’m back in my hometown and I want to teach the youngsters here what I’ve learned from my journey,” said Kawaljit Anand.
It is to be mentioned that the workshop has been receiving positive response from the youngsters of Guwahati. People from other parts of the region like Shillong and Jorhat have also registered themselves for the workshop. “So far, we’ve received around 15 registrations and we wish to close the registrations at 30 participants,” informed Tora Khasgir addressing the media at a press meet held in Guwahati on Wednesday, August 1.
The registration fee for the 3 days workshop is Rs 10,000 which includes food and beverages. Renowned persons from the Assamese fashion and film industry will also be conducting workshops as guest speakers.
