GUWAHATI: A special court is set to give the Verdict in the Babri Masjid demolition case on September 30. The accused in the case L K Advani, M M Joshi, Kalyan Singh, and Uma Bharti have been asked to be present in court.
In August, the Supreme Court extended the deadline by a month for completion of trial in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case involving 32 accused, including BJP veterans L K Advani, M M Joshi, and Uma Bharti, and said that judgement should be delivered by September 30.
The demolition of the Babri Masjid took place on 6 December 1992 in relation to the Ayodhya dispute.
