ASTC gets new innovative softwares

A.P Tiwari, MD, ASTC during a press meet on Thursday announced that the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) will be upgraded with two new softwares, as initiatives of the new ASTC plan. One of the softwares will be a Bus Break Down Monitoring software, while the other for collection of rents. He also announced that the ASTC Paltan Bazaar will be developed for which a tender will be floated very soon. Two vigilance setup (Central vigilance and Upper Assam) will be established. Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari said that a Smart Delivery Mechanism will be launched which will cover GPS facilities, smart ticketing, analog camera, and online inventory management. Tiwari also announced to repair 500 buses operating under ASTC, the process of which will start from 11th February.   Stay updated on the go with GPlus News.
