Assam’s Raju Das Appointed As Secretary Of Sangeet Natak Akademi

GUWAHATI: Assam's Raju Das was named the Secretary of the 'Sangeet Natak Akademi' under the Ministry of Culture.

Das, from Assam's Sivasagar district, is the first person from Assam and the North East region to hold the highest administrative position (Secretary) of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, as per media reports.

He began his career as a programme officer at Sangeet Natak Akademi in 2005 and rose to the post of Deputy Secretary (Coordinator).

Das also became the director of Assam's Sattriya Kendra, a Sangeet Natak Akademi-run organisation, as per media reports.
