“Take a look at the design of the upcoming building!” Pegu shared some photos of the conceptualised building on X. “Thank you HCM @himantabiswa.”

This decision has been particularly taken to enhance infrastructure and provide improved accommodation facilities for government officials and visitors.

Authorities have also emphasised the need for other modern amenities to ensure a more comfortable and efficient stay for dignitaries visiting the district.

In a separate development, the state government had earlier announced plans to install a life-sized statue of B.R. Ambedkar outside the state secretariat in Guwahati. This project has been estimated to be completed by August 15.
