GUWAHATI: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday stated that a dry run of the corona virus vaccination drive will be conducted in four states including Assam on December 28 and 29 in order to assess the preparation for it.
A dry run is a testing process where the effects of a possible failure are intentionally mitigated, which is sort of a rehearsal. The process is set to begin on 28th and 29th December.
This was informed to G Plus by National Health Mission Director Lakshmanan S. There are two districts selected for the project, which are Nalbari and Sonitpur. "We are looking forward to vaccinate 25 people in each session," added Lakshmanan.
The process will involve utilizing the pre-requisites needed for vaccination.
