GUWAHATI: In a recent notification by the office of the Governor, Assam, Anant Lal Gyani has been appointed as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA).
The Governor of Assam has issued a partial modification to the Department's earlier notification, bringing about a significant change in the administration wherein in the interest of public service, Anant Lal Gyani, an esteemed Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2011 batch, currently serving as the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been entrusted with additional responsibility.
The order states, "No. F.cf/245192/19: In partial modification of this Department’s earlier notification No.ECE/245192/17 dated 27" June 2023 and in the interest of public service Shri Anant Lal Gyani, IAS (RR 2011), Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Revenue & DM Department is also posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) as additional charge."
