Assam Senior Men’s Team Ready For Ranji Clash Against Chhattisgarh

GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association has announced the state team set to compete in their fifth Ranji Trophy match against Chhattisgarh, scheduled for November 13, 2024, in Raipur.

Denish Das will lead the team as captain, with Mukhtar Hussain as vice-captain. The squad includes players such as Bhargav Dutta, Mrinmoy Dutta, Rahul Singh, and wicketkeepers Sumit Ghadigaonkar and Ruhinandan Pegu, among others.

Supporting the team will be a staff led by Head Coach Vivek Jaisimha, with Dhiraj Goswami as coach, Rahul Pandey as trainer, and Bheeshm Pratap Singh as the team’s physiotherapist. Video Analyst Rajesh Sharma and Masseur Hari Krishan will also be part of the contingent, while Kartik Talukdar and Subhankar Dey join as throwdown specialists. Jitu Bordoloi will manage the team.

Assam's squad is focused on capitalising on their current momentum as they head into this critical fixture in Raipur.
