GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna on April 20 informed that many students have been complaining about the non-availability of textbooks during this lockdown.
For this, the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to identify a few textbook retailers and wholesalers who will be allowed to open shop for three days a week to cater to the needs of the students.
The Chief Secretary as well as the DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta addressed a press meet on the guidelines to be followed during the extended lockdown period.
