Fourteen ministers have been reassigned to oversee welfare activities in various districts across the state. As part of their duties, the ministers will be responsible for smooth implementation of government initiatives, infrastructure projects, and welfare schemes. Acting as a bridge between the state government and its local administrations, they will aim to address public concerns and facilitate communication at the district level.

Several ministers in the list have been given new districts. Atul Bora, who previously managed Kamrup (M) and North Lakhimpur in 2022, has now been assigned to Kamrup (M) and Nalbari. Similarly, Ranjeet Kumar Das, formerly overseeing Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, and Tinsukia, will now handle Karimganj, Dhubri, and Bongaigaon.

The Guardian Minister Programme, launched in 2021, aims to strengthen district-level governance and improve welfare policies. This latest reshuffle is intended to bring new perspectives to the programme while focusing on effective governance and development across the State.
