GUWAHATI: The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has announced the formation of the Assam Pradesh Trinamool Congress Election Committee for the upcoming general elections.

The newly constituted election committee comprises prominent leaders and members of the party in Assam. Ripun Bora, President of Assam TMC, has been appointed as the Chairman of the committee while Assam TMC General Secretary Gojendra Prasad Upamanyu has been named as the Convenor.
