GUWAHATI: Assam Police thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Indo-Bangladesh border. Authorities reported that three individuals attempting to cross into India illegally were intercepted and subsequently pushed back across the border.

The infiltrators have been identified as Hasmot Ali, Bithi Khatun, and Rima Khatun.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lauded the successful operation, stating, “In an alert move, @assampolice foiled an infiltration bid along the Indo-Bangladesh border and pushed back three illegal infiltrators across the border Hasmot Ali, Bithi Khatun, Rima Khatun.”
