Assam Police Radio Organization (APRO) Recruitment Eligibility Age Limit Increased

 

GUWAHATI: In a recent corrigendum issued by Assam Police regarding the ongoing recruitment for the seven posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication) in the Assam Police Radio Organization (APRO), the upper age limit for applicants has been extended to 26 years of age from the previous 24 years of age.

Issued via a notification dated October 18, the original recruitment advertisement stated that candidates should not exceed 24 years of age. However, the newly approved age limit has been revised, and candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication) posts can now be up to 26 years old.

Additionally, the candidate should not be more than 26 years and not less than 20 years of age as of January 1, 2023. (Candidates must be born on or before 1st January 2003 and on or after 1997).
This update broadens the eligibility criteria for aspiring candidates and allows individuals within the age range of 20 to 26 to apply for these Sub-Inspector positions. 

Assam Police took to X to put out,” Corrigendum GoA vide No. HMA 87/2023/5 dated 17-10-2023 has approved enhancement of upper age limit for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Communication) APRO from the existing 24 years to 26 years. Details attached.
